About Aside Media
Aside Media is a freelance service providing social media management and digital marketing services. Aside Media caters towards any small business or individual (especially those in the theatre and entertainment industry).
Why the name "Aside" Media?
Aside Media originated as a service catering towards the Broadway industry. In theater, an aside is a character's thoughts or information conveyed directly to the audience. Think of your career as an artist or theatrical business as a character. In that sense, your social media and public relations are a business aside, a conveyance of your thoughts or other information to your audience. Providing your audience with an aside is an important factor in marketing yourself and expanding your reach. Aside Media will live up to it's business name by crafting your social media and providing public relations services that will serve as a crucial aside to your audience to improve your marketability and outreach.
The Story of Aside Media Serives
Aside Media creator, Stefanie Pancaro, grew up an avoid fan of Broadway and social media. Combining her passions for both, a young Stefanie began creating fan accounts for Broadway artists and shows. Through this hobby, she discovered the endless marketing opportunities social media provides. In her early college years, Stefanie began managing social media accounts for her friends in the Broadway industry. From there her client base grew! She started working for more theater artists, as well as, performing arts and theater companies. After a few years working independently, Stefanie created Aside Media to ensure all of her clients were receiving equal, high quality and fair pricing. As a fan of the industry herself, Stefanie knew what fans wanted to see. Her performance background also gave her insight into that performers need. The idea behind Aside Media Services was to share the unique perspective of "what fans want, what performers need". When the pandemic shut down Aside Media's niche industry, Stefanie took that time to expand her knowledge in the field. She completed a Master’s Degree in Public & Organizational Relations (Strategic Comms). With a new level of experience and education, Aside Media was expanded to cater towards clients outside of the theater and entertainment industry. Despite this change, Aside Media is still honored to provide a unique insight of "what audiences want, what brands need".
